The Girls Love Golf days continue to grow in popularity with the young aspiring golfers. To celebrate the start of spring we had 21 girls joining the fun at Creek 9, Rooseveldt Park. The girls were sent off in 3 balls. The more experienced girls were sent out with two less experienced girls to assist them, while the coaches, Michael, Betty, Zack and myself kept an eye on all the groups. It is very exciting to see such an interest in the game and even more exciting to see the potential in the young players.
After a rather warm day on the course, the girls were given some well-deserved refreshments which was followed by prize giving.
1st Place : Thato, Tshepang, Pheletso
2nd Place : Rorisang, Kemelo, Busi
3rd Place : Bontle, Neliswa, Tyla
All in all, a very great day was had by all. The next event will be on the 12th October 2014.
